Welcome to Kabin Tapoke! Nestled amidst the tranquil beauty of Minden Hills, Ontario, this newly constructed waterfront retreat offers unparalleled charm. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and perched high among the trees, it provides stunning vistas of Moore Lake from every angle. Set upon 1.13 acres of lush forest, with an impressive 255 feet of shoreline, Kabin Tapoke promises a secluded haven for your family getaway.

Welcome to our lakeside cottage, where elegance and comfort meet breathtaking views of Moore Lake. This inviting retreat features an open-concept living space with soaring vaulted ceilings and a full wall of windows that bathe the interior in natural light. Enjoy spectacular lake views and sunsets from nearly every room.

Living Area:

A grand rustic stone fireplace anchors the living space, complete with a 55-inch TV and a cozy gas fireplace to keep you warm during cooler months.
The cottage is equipped with high-speed Starlink internet and a wide selection of streaming options, including Netflix and Disney+.
Kitchen:

Our beautifully designed kitchen comes fully equipped with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals.
Complimentary coffee, tea, olive oil, and basic spices are provided.
In-house chef services are available upon request and are highly recommended by our guests.

Accommodation:

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across four well-appointed bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: Queen bed (upstairs)
Bedroom 2: King bed (upstairs)
Bedroom 3: King bed (downstairs)
Bedroom 4: Double queen beds (downstairs)
All bed linens and bath towels are provided for your convenience. The property features two full bathrooms (one on each floor) and an outdoor shower located on the bottom deck (seasonal availability, closed during winter). Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are included.

Outdoor Features:

Our expansive 60-foot upper and lower decks offer stunning views that can be enjoyed all day, rain or shine. The bottom deck is fully covered, ensuring comfort during rainy days.
The upper deck extends from a cozy 14x16 screened-in room, perfect for relaxing, especially during buggy seasons.
Entertainment and Recreation:

The lower level features a 70-inch TV with Netflix, a foosball table, a large sectional for reading or relaxing, and a second fridge located by the bar for extra drinks and snacks.
Step out from the lower deck and follow a path of approximately 120 steps leading to a waterfront deck with wrap-around seating and Muskoka chairs for gathering with friends and family.
Enjoy the sun from noon until sunset on our 12x20 floating dock, perfect for fishing or lounging. We provide a 2-person kayak, 2 single kayaks, and 2 paddleboards, along with 8 adult life jackets and 2 children’s life jackets.

Unwind in the sauna or hot tub and cool off with the outdoor shower while savoring the sunset.
Relax in our hammocks, gently swaying in the breeze.
Gather around the fire pit, listen to the crackling fire and the call of the loons, and enjoy a night under the stars.

*WINTER*
**Must have 4x4 and winter tires to access in winter**
We have a cedar barrel hot tub that overlooks the lake. The lake freezes over in late January (depends on temp) which makes for beautiful walks/snowshoeing (We cannot guarantee any ice is safe to walk on, at any time. Do so at your own risk)
We are close to some great snowmobile trails- Feeder trail B104 & Club trail 340.
Bring a blanket and your mulled wine to the outdoor fire pit surrounded by string lights. Cozy up to our indoor gas fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa and play your favourite board games!
There are many amazing restaurants that are open year round that are close by, plus a great brewery that has a heated winter patio, its incredibly cozy!

We are located on an unassumed road (8-10 minutes long) which is plowed during the colder months. It is very hilly (some steep) and 4WD is required in the winter. Although the road is plowed, winter conditions are uncertain and it's possible the roads can be icy. We caution guests to drive slow, and must be comfortable, equipped and acknowledge the inherent risks in the winter environment. We cannot be held liable for any difficulties on the roads or towing fees.
